Ans (d) A definite dry and wet season
Savannah, also known as tropical grasslands, are found to the north and south of tropical rainforest biomes. The tropical Savannah region has a definite dry and wet season. It is also known as Tropical Wet and Dry in the Koeppen classification.
Savannah has two distinct seasons, the wet season and the dry season. In the wet season, vegetation grows, while in the dry season, there is very little rain.
Savannah covers approximately 20% of the Earth’s land area. The largest region of Savannah is in Africa. Kenya and Tanzania consist of tropical grasslands. These grasslands are also found in Brazil in South America. Savannah grasslands are much richer in humus than equatorial forests.
